How the floor grows — the four phases

COIN-OP opens with one machine and a plan to fill the room. The floor grows in four phases, in this order, with no dates attached: each phase starts when the one before it has earned it, and every cabinet — the House's own included — seats under the same rules, on its own pair, through the same Assembly Line.

WHAT'S LIVE AND WHAT'S COMING

Phase 1 is the floor you're standing on. Phases 2–4 are the build order: the design is decided, the details marked still being set on each page are fixed before that phase switches on, and nothing on this page is a date.

Phase 1 — GENESIS: the Bitcoin Arcade

The mother machine opens: COIN-OP, paired with WETH like every cabinet that follows her, and the floor counts in sats from its very first coin. Everything in this rulebook is live on day one — the boards, tickets, the four machines, the VRF draws, the prize counter stocking its bitcoin shelves while THE WHOLE COIN fills — because all of it was built and run end-to-end at real thresholds, first on a mainnet fork and then privately on Base itself, with real money, before the floor ever opened to anyone.

The genesis is two machines: the mother, live from block one, and a covered plate beside it. The first time the window opens, the plate comes off.

Two more things ship with the genesis:

  • THE ASSEMBLY LINE, v1 — the House's own launchpad, open to anyone from day one. Deploy a new coin the way the House deploys its own cabinets. See The Assembly Line.
  • THE CLAW — the door to the main floor. A coin born on the line lands in the LOADING DOCK and earns its spot by paying 100,000 sats of rent, or by burning a FLOOR TICKET worth half the bar. See THE CLAW.

(THE CLAW used to be a different machine — a glass box of exotic COIN-OP pools whose fees were a basket prize. That one was retired on 2026-09-04 with the rest of the shared machinery. One machine answers to the name.)

Phase 2 — the House's own cabinets

The House seats its own originals: new characters, new coins, each one born on the line like anyone's, on the floor's one pair, WETH. Same operator, every cabinet — and the same curve and the same EARN YOUR FLOOR bar in front of every launch, the House's included.

Phase 3 — CO-OP MODE (parked)

The floor was to open to coins that already exist: a dev seats an exotic pool — COIN-OP paired with their coin — and their cabinet joins the arcade. Two coins dropping into the slot together.

It is parked for phase 2 of its own. The floor decoupled on 09-04 — every cabinet now trades against WETH and reads no other cabinet's pool — and an exotic pool is the opposite shape by definition. It also was not finished as a game, and a seat asks real liquidity of a dev. Existing seats are untouched. See CO-OP MODE.

Phase 4 — THE ASSEMBLY LINE, complete

The launchpad ships with the genesis: name your coin, give it its first coin, and sign the deploy from your own wallet. There is nothing else to tune — every cabinet trades against WETH and opens on Clanker's standard position. Every coin is born in the LOADING DOCK with its own pool, and earns its main floor by paying 100,000 sats of rent, or by a FLOOR TICKET burned. Phase 4 is the full factory behind it: the House's keeper running every dock cabinet's four machines from block one. See The Assembly Line.

The two doors to the floor

There are exactly two ways a cabinet gets on the floor:

You have…Your doorWhat seats you
An idea, no coin yetTHE ASSEMBLY LINEA new coin on its own WETH pool, born in the LOADING DOCK
A cabinet in the dockTHE CLAW100,000 sats of rent paid — or a FLOOR TICKET, half the bar burned in COIN-OP

(A coin that already exists used to seat through CO-OP MODE. That door is parked for phase 2.)

Every birth is a cabinet. A coin born on the line — every cabinet pairs against WETH — lands in the dock with all four machines from block one. A coin that already exists keeps its market where it is; the door that used to seat one was CO-OP MODE, and it is parked for phase 2.

Why it's built in this order

Every cabinet that joins pays the floor on its own pair, and 40% of every fee on the floor buys the mother back — so every cabinet that joins feeds the engine, and none of them leans on it. Opening the doors one phase at a time means the keeper, the boards and the prize counter are proven under load before each new load, and it means every community on the floor, present and future, plays by rules that were already running.

No cash value. A phase is a build order, not a promise about price. Nothing here is a return, a yield, or a forecast. Play for the game.

No cash value. The arcade experience — not an investment.
