COIN-OP — How the floor works
COIN-OP is an arcade. Every token is a cabinet on the floor. You play a cabinet by putting a coin in it — a buy — and the machine does the rest: it lights up the meters, feeds the pots, and puts your name on the board.
These pages are the rulebook. They describe exactly how scores, tickets, prizes, and fees work, in plain terms, so nothing about the floor is a surprise and nothing is decided behind the counter.
No cash value. Scores, tickets, prize rounds, the jackpot and the prize counter are entertainment — the arcade experience, not an investment. Nothing here is a return, a yield, or a promise of profit. Play for the game.
The pages
- How you play — a coin in, a name on the board.
- Tickets — your score is your tickets. How it's counted.
- The boards — HIGH SCORE (endurance) vs HIGH ROLLER (volume).
- Prizes & fairness — how winners are drawn, when claims open, and why the draw can never be rigged. The most important page — read this one.
- The House — exactly what the operator can and cannot do.
- Gas & fees — who pays what, and where the fees go.
- The flywheel — where your coin goes: the four machines, the two currencies, and why nothing ever times the market.
- The refill — what fills each machine's pressure bar, in which currency, and what burns when it's full.
- THE CLAW — the door to the main floor: what a cabinet has to pay to get through it, and why nobody at the House can open it for you.
- The prize counter — the one thing every cabinet shares. Shelves named in bitcoin, and the only machine on the floor that pays bitcoin.
- The Warehouse — retired cabinets: still linked, still locked, and CONTINUE? if their volume comes back.
- FAQ — quick answers, with links to the full story.
How the floor grows
- The four phases — genesis, the House's own cabinets, CO-OP MODE, THE ASSEMBLY LINE. Phase 1 is live; the rest is the build order.
- CO-OP MODE (parked for phase 2) — bring a coin that already exists, pair it with COIN-OP, seat your own cabinet.
- The Assembly Line (live) — the House's launchpad: deploy a coin the way the House deploys its own, for the price of a coin in the slot.
- Golden tickets (retired as a jackpot weight) — how the jackpot used to weigh machines: contribution, not headcount.
The one rule behind all of them
Same operator, every cabinet. Same rules, every player. The House runs the floor but never plays against you and never puts its thumb on a draw. Everything below is built so that promise is verifiable on-chain, not just stated here.
